Course Description

INTRODUCTION

This practical on-line workshop has been designed as a high impact, short duration PLC programming workshop. It is there for individuals who either with to brush up on or else learn PLC programming techniques from scratch. The workshop is mostly practical in nature, although theoretical aspects will be covered as and when necessary.

Many PLC programming languages have evolved over the years, but five have been covered in the IEC 61131-3 standard. This workshop delves into each of the languages, using practical examples to see how the language can fit in, in the real world.

The workshop is synchronous, fully interactive, and questions will be answered, as they get asked.

This GLOMACS online training course will feature:

  • Interpreting real-world problems, and how to come up with a programming solution
