Course Description

Introduction

This GLOMACS Building Collaboration Skills & Strategies for Projects’ training course addresses two fundamental challenges that face the project manager. Firstly, to build a collaborative environment in which all functions supporting the project are aligned towards achieving common project goals. Secondly, to align project goals with the long-range intention and strategies of the organization itself. To be successful, organizations must devise an effective strategy, and then effectively execute that strategy. Successful execution of strategy is achieved by great projects and great project managers in a collaborative environment.

This training course equips project professionals with a practical and widely used framework which can be used to optimally align projects and programs with organizational strategic objectives. Success is no longer achieved by ‘command and control’ but by collaboration across and outside the organization, often navigating and negotiating conflicting priorities.
