Course Description

Introduction

Installing solar power systems is a risky business as solar power is a growing sector for green energy. Like any other power generation sources, solar energy also has some HSE concerns. So, working in a solar plant requires employers to conduct safety training for their employee’s protection. Many solar installation companies have taken international requirements like OSHA, a step further to a specific measure they require to manage solar energy plant safely and for rising workers culture towards safety related issues.

Some safety concerns are common for solar installations, but proactively putting preventive measures in place can help mitigate on-the-job injuries. So, employers are required to provide continuous updates through several training programs to update their staff knowledge to protect them from workplace hazards. Workers also need to understand how to protect themselves from hazards and report unsafe act or condition in their workplace.
