Change your Life by Changing your Attitude
As a leader, the right attitude can define an average leader, from an extraordinary leader. Making decisions under pressure and handling conflict between team members can bring out the best or worst in a leader. The extraordinary leader is defined by his interpersonal skills, decision making, coachability, emotional stability and potential to grow.
The TENT Therapy protects the spirit and mind of a leader from the negative elements of the outside world. If the individual’s spiritual tent is strong, he can withstand the pressures from the external world better. In fact, he is in a better position to handle the sudden changes that he may encounter. The TENT Therapy is unique because not only is it different from other therapies, it is drawn with the knowledge that an individual comprises spirit, mind and body.
Here are four TENT steps to changing your attitude:
Step 1. Thanksgiving attitude
Recall a pleasant memory and dwell on it. This allows you to switch on to a positive mood.
Step 2. Enjoy our work and live in obedience to our conscience
Enjoy the present moment in a genuine way as it enriches the spirit. A healthy mind leads to a healthy spirit.
Step 3. No coincidences in our lives
Life has no coincidence or accidents. It is important to accept and move on when a negative event occurs. The past and negative memories should be let go.
Step 4. Thankfulness to God
Declare joyfully in our hearts our gratefulness to Creator God for the blessings of our health and our loved ones.
By practicing thankfulness you will find an improvement in relationships, changes in perspective, mindful awareness of others, strengthened immune system, nurture a kind spirit, and acceptance that each day is a gift and what we feel, say, and do is a choice.
