Organisations fail to execute strategiesDubai, UAE (December 4, 2017) — GLOMACS delivered a course on Performance Management entitled “Performance Management: Setting Objectives, and KPIs” in Dubai, last November 26 until Thursday, November 30, 2017 and this was presented by Dr. Jamal Stephan, a PhD and Certfied KPI Professional and Practitioner. The training course provides an effective way of understanding some of the most important barriers to successful execution of organizational strategies. One of the main reasons is lack of understanding of Employees Behaviors and their resistance to change. The seminar provides an opportunity for all Human Resources Professionals and Leaders to learn how to implement effective Performance Management Systems in their organizations and its impact on employees in terms of the development of its Human Capital, which is the foundation for success and good performance. This requires an understanding of the human behavior of the employees in the organization.

Many organisations put serious effort into deciding on the type of organisation they would like to be. This is then written down in various forms such as Mission, Vision, Values or Core Competencies. In some organisations, employees adopt the good intentions expressed in such documents and the organisation prospers as a result. In others, there is disconnect between what the senior team want and what is delivered by the management and supervisory team. The consequence is that the organisation says one thing and does another; which is a recipe for disillusion and failure.

The seminar explained on how to integrate Key Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators into a performance management system applied by a highly skilled managerial and supervisory team.  In this way, they provide the right example. It’s not just a question of what is achieved but also how it is achieved.

The seminar focused on both the theoretical and the practical. There was practical skill workshops conducted each day where what has been learned put into practice.
