Introduction
This Fundamentals of Substation Equipment and Control Systems training course focuses mainly on the substation layout, equipment, design, installation, operation and control of medium and high voltage switchgear and equipment, regarding auxiliary equipment necessary for its operation. Medium/High voltage equipment plays a vital role in the safe distribution of electrical power.
The substation equipment needs to be rated, designed, controlled and operated in a safe manner, securing continuity of supply to consumers.
