Course Description

INTRODUCTION

The Oxford Adaptive and Transformational Leadership training course is an essential skill set for individuals seeking to drive change in a world of conflicting demands and ever-changing priorities. Adaptive and Transformational leadership is a concept that emphasises leaders' ability to navigate complex and rapidly changing environments. Unlike traditional leadership approaches that focus on maintaining stability and control, adaptive leadership acknowledges the dynamic nature of modern organisations and the need for leaders to adapt their strategies accordingly.

In this leadership style, leaders are expected to be flexible, resilient, and able to anticipate and respond to unforeseen challenges. They empower their teams to innovate and problem-solve, encouraging a culture of learning and experimentation. Adaptive leaders foster collaboration and communication, encouraging diverse perspectives and constructive feedback.

This GLOMACS "Oxford Adaptive and Transformational Leadership" training course will highlight:

  • Recognising the need for change and being proactive in identifying emerging trends and disruptions that require a shift in strategy.
  • How to mobilise and unlock collective intelligence to harness their team members' collective knowledge and expertise to address complex problems collaboratively.
  • Embracing uncertainty by being comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and skilled at managing risk.
  • Facilitating learning and growth by creating environments where individuals feel empowered to take calculated risks, learn from failures, and continuously improve.
  • How adaptive and transformational leadership is about guiding organisations through uncertainty and transformation, enabling them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
