INTRODUCTION

The Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) has developed a Technical Regulation for Building Materials, which is part of the current Saudi Building Code. The SASO Technical Regulation for Building Materials training course focuses on introducing an overview about regulation that provides the characteristics of building materials and their production methods, including the applicable associated administrative provisions. Besides, assessments and practical examples shall be promoted in an interactive manner to let all attendees realize how to better adopt such standards properly to enhance the building performance and durability in an economical design basis.
