Introduction

The Oxford Executive Development Masterclass is an advanced level training course, that has been specifically designed for senior executives who are looking to enhance their leadership abilities and gain a deeper understanding of the eight, key roles a leader must assume as part of their privileged position as a company executive. At the executive level we have major influence over many people, and with that influence comes great responsibility. We are responsible for driving the business forward and we cannot do this if we do not have out people on board with us.   • Understanding the impact of your online and offline presence

 The Leader as a Mentor

  • Connecting with your internal and external stakeholders

  • How to win friends and influence people at an executive level

The Leader as a Facilitator   

  • Building high performance teams
  • Using personality matrix to reduce conflicts
  • Increase collaboration by matching personalities
  • Using relationship mapping to increase influence over others
  • Tuning into personalities at the executive level

DAY 4

The Leader as a Broker

  • Selling your ideas to the senior team
  • Structuring high level presentations
  • Convincing people that hold different opinions

  • How to handle Q & A sessions at high level meetings

The Leader as a Director

  • Communicating the vision and strategy
  • Setting behavioural standards for your organization

MODULE TWO

The Executive Development Masterclass: Influencing Through Modelling Your Character

This module will examine, the way you maintain high standards and monitor performance and results. By setting the example, pace and standards you expect to see, throughout the organization. You will raise the standards and performance of those around you and actively influence the direction and success of the organizational goals.

  • Selecting appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Monitoring performance through Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Project progress measurement and analysis
  • Controlling project handover to operations

The Leader as a Producer

  • Developing the master plan
  • Matching scenarios to audiences
  • Prototyping the solutions
  • The Socializing process
  • Audience centred engagement strategies

The Leader as an Innovator

  • Good ideas can come from anywhere
  • Processes and mechanisms for generating new ideas
  • Use of data mining to generate innovative ideas

Designing Your Legacy
